    Through the 50s & 60s this little glass tube was the ticket to my day of freedom.
    It was particularly kind to me in 1959, 5
    th
    grade, when I had a whole month of freedom (but almost succumbed to hepatitis in the process).
    Blunt metal end, 4”, triangular shaped, marking of normal temp at 98.6°.
    Black plastic case with screw together closure; unmarked (lid cracked).
    Completely functional, great condition as pictured.
