Cosmetic Condition
The FDR is in fairly good cosmetic condition. It has scuff marks, scratches, and general wear from use.

We are not very familiar with the operation or use of this device. From what we could gather, it is for use in a frequency monitoring network (FNET) hosted by volunteers at University of Tennessee and Virginia Tech. When plugged in to a 120V outlet and connected to a GPS signal, it sends timestamped voltage frequency and angle data back to a server or servers for processing.

The listing includes only the recorder unit. It will need a GPS antenna for making timestamps and an ethernet cable for connecting to WAN. We will ship the unit with a power cord.

Testing
We tested the FDR by plugging it in and switching it on. It powers on fine, and the display is working. The PWR and PPS lights turn on, and when plugged in via ethernet the NET lights blinks. The display states "Acquire..." while powered on. We have not tested further than this. We did not have a suitable GPS antenna on hand to test with.
This is the full extent of the testing performed. We do not have the equipment or expertise necessary to fully test this device. As such, it is being sold as-is. We can only guarantee that the condition is exactly as described.
