Vintage Jean Mayer Stoneware Ocarina Vessel Flute Glazed Owl Made In Israel.
Jean Mayer was born in England in 1924. She and her husband immigrated to Israel in 1951. She started her studio in 1956.
This owl is a Ocarina which is a Vessel Flute.
The owl stands 3.75" tall, is 2.50" wide and 3" deep.
The body has been textured to look like feathers. The eyes and  beak have been applied and his eyes have a white glaze on them (see photos).His tail has the hole to blow and there are 3 small holes on the side (see photos).
There are two minor chips in the glaze (see photos).
