The sensor will auto on once you walk close, workable range within 5ft. It will get better result when facing toward the door. Waterproof material can defend the splashed water.   Single-color mode & 8 color rotation, bright but no dazzling when you walk into the bathroom in the midnight. Light your way in darkness, you can stay one color or custom the change color as you want. During the day or when the light is on, if you install the batteries, t will be a red flash, which is system detection. But because of the photosensitive resistance, the toilet night light won’t work immediately. (Only work in the Dark). If the toilet bowl light is under color changing condition, and you want to set it as one single color, please press the button once, then it will stay at the color that you want, and it will be the same color when the toilet night light works next time.
