Beautifully finished ocarinas, each one is handmade and finetuned by our partner, Luis Acosta Challapa.
The photos of the ocarinas being played are referential, and may vary from the one we have in stock.
The one we currently have in stock comes with a design of Wiracocha, the supreme creator and arch-deity of the Andes and is the one displayed against the white background.
Luis Acosta Challapa is an Aymara musician who makes and sells ocarinas, quenas, panpipes and other traditional Andean instruments. He has a stall in the Indigenous Art Exposition Centre, where members of Santiago’s Mapuche, Aymara and Rapu Nui communities sell handicrafts, art, books and traditional medicinal herbs.
