Founded in 1930 Fee & Stemwedel of Chicago used the trade-name Airguide for manufacturing barometers and thermometers for the home market.
The name changed to the Airguide Instrument Company in 1956.
In 1980 it was sold to the Johnson Wax Company which stopped selling products under the Airguide name in 2000.
