"Avion" Cutting Compound
- this is a high-quality multipurpose metalworking lubricant-coolant compound.
Mainly applicable in drilling and threading operations.
The main advantages include the fact that the compound has a fixed viscosity at high temperatures (i.e., in the cutting zone it retains a viscous state, due to which a constant lubrication of the cutting edge of the tool and obstruction of lubricant ejection under the action of high temperature, centrifugal forces and cutting products ( shavings)). Also in the compound is a solid high-temperature lubricant (molybdenum disulfide) that provides lubrication of the cutting zone even under the most critical conditions. In sum, these characteristics give a good result, the absence of the work hardening of viscous metals on the drill, the exception of biting the tool into parts, the constancy of lubrication of the cutting edge (which significantly prolongs the service life of the tool).
Apply mainly to carbide tools, due to the high cost of the latter and its high brittleness (especially when working with viscous metals and alloys).
It does not require abundant application, it is enough to dip the drill at 3-6mm and turn for the required layer and a good result.
Warranty period of 10 years.
Store in a cool place.
