Buschow & Beck Minerva Tin Head Multi-jointed 10” Doll. This doll has an exceptional condition to the tin painted head. It is clearly marked Minerva with the Helmet logo on the front and 1 Germany on the back. The body is very interesting. It has a cloth torso with a wooden waist joint that allows the torso to swivel. The arms are carved wood, with elbow and wrist joints. There are red lines between the fingers. The upper legs are cloth, but the lower legs are carved wood that are hinged with a metal button. The doll has a pronounced booty. She needs cleaning, but I am afraid of doing doing it properly, so I’ll leave that to the buyer. The shoes and socks appear to be modern ones. Condition is "Used".
