This hand-crafted, off-the-frame restoration was completed by our Team at world-renowned Defender experts, Osprey Custom Cars, in sunny Castle Hayne, NC. Motivation is courtesy of a high-revving, deep breathing 6.2L LS3 V8 mated to a smooth-shifting 6L80E 6-speed automatic transmission controlled by a slick push-button gear selector with LED display. The heavy-duty LT230 transfer case distributes constant power to all four wheels, ensuring every last morsel of the 435+ horsepower and 445+ pound-feet of ground-pounding torque makes it to the ground.
The upgraded, heavy-duty PUMA-spec front and rear axles are located by Terrafirma® 2" lift springs, along with heavy-duty Terrafirma® shocks, cranked radius arms, track rod, drag link, and steering damper on the front, all protected by a front heavy-duty aluminum skidplate. It rides on satin black powder-coated 20” Kahn “Mondial Retro Light” wheels, wrapped with 275/65R20 Cooper® Discoverer AT3® XLT all-terrain tires. A NAS-style rear bumper, complete with jacking points brings up the rear. To ensure stopping is safe, quick, and effective, the vehicle is equipped with upgraded 4-wheel power disc brakes.
The body was finished in crisp Land Rover Fuji White with matching roof and wheel arches and then carefully reassembled on the chassis. The satin black powder-coated Safety Devices® exo-skeletal FULL roll cage provides serious protection for your precious cargo – human or otherwise – and the satin black powder-coated 5-bar (chequer plate) wing top protection and Terrafirma® rock sliders with integrated tree bars will help guard the precious aluminum body panels. Heavy-duty rubber factory floor mats protect the fully Raptor®-lined interior. Gloss black powder-coated Optimill® billet aluminum side mirrors with integrated LED puddle lamps and exterior door handles complete the overall clean appearance.
Gloss black light surrounds anchor the Saudi-spec grille, which provides increased airflow and engine cooling. It's protected by a heavy-duty front bumper with lamp guards and integrated LED running lamps. The PUMA-spec bonnet is mounted with Optimill® gloss black powder-coated aluminum hinges, which complement the matching Optimill® aluminum windscreen hinges. The front, side, rear, and ambient interior LED light upgrades offer superior illumination for wherever your travels may take you. A Masai® front bumper with integrated quad fog lamps neatly finishes off the impressive front end.
The modern, PUMA-spec dash provides excellent heating and air conditioning to help ensure the interior is comfortable year-round and houses the PUMA-spec instrument cluster. The bespoke interior is complete with custom, diamond-stitched Lucari® black leather front seats with heat, matching rear seats, and custom diamond-stitched leather door cards. The custom, leather-wrapped, full-length center console with DUAL cubby storage areas is equipped with a wireless charging pad, 2 dual-outlet USB charging ports on the front AND rear, and 2 aluminum cupholders. The front and rear windows and locks are power-operated, and the vehicle is equipped with a Viper® 5305V LCD 2-way security and remote start system. Heavy-duty rubber factory floor mats protect the fully Raptor®-lined interior, and the luxurious black Alcantara headliner nicely tops things off inside.
A gorgeous piano-black finish center dash binnacle with Optimill® silver-anodized billet aluminum HVAC control knobs houses the infotainment system consisting of a double-DIN Alpine® touch-screen head unit with navigation, Bluetooth®, DVD playback, Apple Car Play®, Android Auto®, and a backup camera coupled to a crisp-sounding Rockford Fosgate® silk-dome speaker array.
